I am video journalist based in South Florida.
Most recently I worked as a creative digital producer for Univision’s millennial-focused cable channel Fusion TV. In that role I created and edited video content as well as developed systems to translate the company’s broadcast material to its digital platforms.
I earned my master’s degree from the University of California Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in May 2017. At Berkeley, I specialized in video production. My coursework took me to fishing villages in West Africa, hospitals in Puerto Rico and government offices in China.
Before graduate school I was a reporter for a weekly, community newspaper on Anna Maria Island on the Gulf coast of Florida. I covered the city of Holmes Beach, Cortez and the environment. I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in Journalism and Media Studies and a minor in Environmental Policy.
